Chris Riddell is a much loved illustrator and acclaimed political cartoonist. He has won the Nestlé Gold Award and two Kate Greenaway Medals. He is co-creator of the hugely successful NEW YORK TIMES bestseller THE EDGE CHRONICLES, author and illustrator of the OTTOLINE books and works for the OBSERVER newspaper.
Dave McKean was born in Berkshire in the UK in 1963. He attended Berkshire College of Art and Design from 1982-86 and, before leaving he started working as an illustrator. In 1986 he met author Neil Gaiman and they have worked together on many projects since, including the Sandman series.
Dave McKean has collaborated with Neil Gaiman on the following works: CORALINE, THE DAY I SWAPPED MY DAD FOR TWO GOLDFISH, THE WOLVES IN THE WALLS, CRAZY HAIR, MIRRORMASK, THE COMICAL TRAGEDY OR TRAGICAL COMEDY OF MR PUNCH, and SIGNAL TO NOISE.
Charles Vess collaborated with Neil on STARDUST, for which Charles's paintings won the World Fantasy Award for Best Artist in 1999, and on Neil's acclaimed SANDMAN series.
Adam Rex grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and now lives with his wife in Tucson. His first picture book, THE DIRTY COWBOY by Amy Timberlake, was published in 2003. His picture book FRANKENSTEIN MAKES A SANDWICH, a collection of stories about monsters and their problems, was a NEW YORK TIMES bestseller. He has also written books for teenagers and adults including FAT VAMPIRE and THE TRUE MEANING OF SMEKDAY. Adam received the Jack Gaughan Award for Best Emerging Artist in 2005.

Gris Grimly lives in the USA and is a regular contributor to the world of children's books. He has worked with Neil Gaiman on THE DANGEROUS ALPHABET.
Lorenzo Mattotti is an illustrator and comics/graphic novel artist. His illustrations have been published in magazines including COSMOPOLITAN, VOGUE, THE NEW YORKER, LE MONDE and VANITY FAIR. In 2003 Mattotti won an Eisner Award for his DR JEKYLL & MR HYDE graphic novel. He has worked with Neil Gaiman on HANSEL AND GRETEL.
